Vettify Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Vettify. By accessing or using our services, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Definitions

  • “Vettify”: Refers to our business, platform, and related services.
  • “User” or “You”: Refers to any individual or business accessing or using Vettify’s services.
  • “Certification”: Refers to the status granted after successfully completing Vettify’s vetting process.

3. Services

Vettify provides the following services:

  1. A 50-point vetting process to certify tradespeople and businesses.
  2. Marketing tools to help certified businesses showcase their certification and build trust.
  3. Ongoing support and certification renewal services.

4. Eligibility

To use Vettify, you must:

  • Be a registered business or sole trader.
  • Provide accurate and complete information during the application process.
  • Meet all criteria outlined in our 50-point vetting process.

5. Payments

  1. Initial Vetting Fee:
    • A non-refundable £97 fee is required to initiate the vetting process.
  2. Remaining Balance:
    • Upon successful certification, you agree to pay the remaining balance:
      • £200 for sole traders
      • £400 for small businesses (up to 8 personnel, including subcontractors)
      • £900 for larger businesses (8+ personnel)
  3. Annual Renewal:
    • From the second year onward, an annual fee of £297, £497, or £997 (depending on your business size) will be charged.
  4. Payment Methods:
    • All payments are processed via Stripe or another secure payment provider.

6. Refund Policy

  • The £97 initial vetting fee is non-refundable.
  • If your certification is revoked due to non-compliance, no refund will be issued for any paid fees.

7. Certification Process

  1. To become Vettified, you must successfully pass our 50-point vetting process.
  2. Vettify reserves the right to deny certification if you fail to meet the required criteria.
  3. We will provide guidance and support if your application is unsuccessful, but certification is not guaranteed.

8. Certification Usage

  1. Certified businesses may use the Vettify badge, website content, and other marketing tools provided.
  2. Misuse of the Vettify badge or misrepresentation of your certification status will result in immediate revocation of certification.

9. Revocation of Certification

Vettify reserves the right to revoke your certification at any time if:

  1. You fail to maintain the standards required for certification.
  2. You provide false or misleading information during the application or renewal process.
  3. Complaints or reviews indicate behavior inconsistent with Vettify’s principles of quality, integrity, and professionalism.

10. Responsibilities of Certified Businesses

  1. Maintain accurate and updated business information.
  2. Display the Vettify badge and marketing materials responsibly and in line with our guidelines.
  3. Uphold the principles of quality, honesty, integrity, and transparency in all business dealings.

11. Limitation of Liability

  1. Vettify does not guarantee business success, increased leads, or revenue as a result of certification.
  2. Vettify is not responsible for disputes or issues between certified businesses and their customers.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

  1. We collect and store your data in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
  2. For more details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

  1. Vettify reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
  2. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the United Kingdom.
