Welcome to Vettify! These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our services and outline the agreement between you (the tradesperson) and Vettify Ltd. By signing up for a Vettify profile, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. About Vettify

1.1 Vettify is not an accreditation or certification body. Instead, we provide a conversion rate improvement tool that allows tradespeople to present key business credentials in an easy-to-digest profile.
1.2 Vettify profiles help build customer trust by consolidating reviews, insurance details, qualifications, and other business information into a single, transparent profile.
1.3 Vettify does not approve, endorse, or regulate tradespeople. We provide a platform where you can display your information, and customers make their own hiring decisions based on your profile.

2. Creating & Managing Your Vettify Profile

2.1 Eligibility: To create a Vettify profile, you must:

  • Be an active tradesperson or trade business.
  • Agree to the Vettify Principles (honesty, professionalism, transparency).
  • Provide accurate business details.

2.2 Profile Information: You are responsible for ensuring that all details added to your profile are:

  • Accurate and up to date.
  • Legally compliant. You must have the right to display any logos, certifications, or credentials.

2.3 Updating Your Profile:

  • You can update your profile at any time.
  • If certain details are missing (e.g., insurance documents, reviews), customers will still be able to see your profile, but a completion status may be displayed to indicate missing information.

2.4 Vettify's Right to Modify or Remove Profiles:

  • If any false, misleading, or inappropriate information is found, Vettify reserves the right to request corrections or remove your profile.
  • If complaints arise about your work, Vettify may conduct an internal review and request further information.

3. Payments & Subscription

3.1 Pricing:

  • Vettify membership costs £199 per year per trade business.
  • The full payment is required before your profile is activated.

3.2 Payment Process:

  • You will be prompted to pay after completing your onboarding (uploading business details, answering questions, and providing documentation).
  • Once payment is made, your profile will go live and can be used to support your sales process.

3.3 Renewals & Cancellations:

  • Your subscription renews annually at £199.
  • You will be notified in advance before renewal.
  • If you choose not to renew, your profile will be deactivated, and customers will no longer be able to view it.

3.4 Refund Policy:

  • The £199 membership fee is non-refundable.
  • If your profile is deactivated for violating our terms, no refunds will be issued.

4. Use of the Vettify Badge & Marketing Materials

4.1 What You Can Do:
✔️ You may display the Vettify badge on your website, van, quotes, social media, and marketing materials.
✔️ You may refer to yourself as a Vettified business to highlight your profile and credentials.

4.2 What You Cannot Do:
❌ You must not claim to be approved, accredited, or regulated by Vettify.
❌ You must not use the Vettify branding in a misleading way or suggest a false endorsement.

5. Customer Interactions & Responsibility

5.1 Your Responsibility as a Tradesperson:

  • Vettify provides a marketing and trust-building tool, but all customer interactions, contracts, and job agreements are your responsibility.
  • Customers hire you based on the information you provide—Vettify is not responsible for the quality of work carried out.

5.2 Disputes & Complaints:

  • If a customer raises a concern about your service, Vettify may review your profile and request additional information.
  • If serious complaints arise, we reserve the right to suspend or remove your profile.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

6.1 No Guarantee of Work:

  • Vettify does not guarantee that you will receive work as a result of using our platform.
  • Your conversion rate improvement depends on how effectively you use your profile.

6.2 Platform Availability:

  • We strive to keep Vettify available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • We may perform updates, maintenance, or modifications as needed.

6.3 Liability Limits:

  • Vettify is not liable for any loss of income, business opportunities, or disputes with customers arising from the use of our platform.

7. Changes to These Terms

7.1 Updates & Modifications:

  • Vettify reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
  • You will be notified of any material changes.

7.2 Continued Use:

  • Your continued use of Vettify after updates to these terms means you accept the changes.
